Rise and Lemay Housing Partnership to Host Groundbreaking Ceremony for 40 New Single-Family Homes in Lemay

Rise Community Development (Rise) and Lemay Housing Partnership, Inc. (LHP) to Host Groundbreaking for Community Members at Hancock Place School District

What: Rise in partnership with LHP will host a groundbreaking ceremony for Lemay Homes, consisting of 40 new, single-family homes.

Rise and LHP closed on this $9.0 million development with Missouri Housing Development Commission, St. Louis County, PNC Bank and Sugar Creek Capital.

The development features 36 three-bedroom homes and 4 four-bedroom homes with energy efficient appliances, functional floor plans, durable exterior finishes and at least one and a half baths. All of the homes will be built using sustainable design guidelines and will incorporate features of Universal Design.

The new single-family homes are affordable to families earning 60 percent or less of the Area Median Income.

Who: Missouri State Representative Bob Burns, St. Louis County Port Authority Commission Vice Chair Frank McHugh, Director of Planning at St. Louis County Government Glenn Powers, and St Louis County Councilman Kevin O’Leary among other dignitaries.
