Ashley Langston is a native St. Louisan and has recently joined Rise in 2023. She is the Property Manager for University Lofts, Des Lee Gallery and the Rise Community Development Office. Providing operational and community management, she has plans to facilitate Rise’s expansion of internal property management as well as introduce wraparound services and programs.
She has 5+ years in property management and real estate acquisition experience working in varied communities with varied needs. Her background ranges across asset type and her strategies have been instrumental in fortifying the Resident Services and Program Coordination in management companies throughout the Greater St. Louis area. Her expertise in improving communities and creating pathways for resident satisfaction will ensure a thriving community built on a foundation of transparency, reliability, and open communication.
She has received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri – Columbia and holds her MO Real Estate Salesperson’s license. Ashley is credentialed as a Certified Apartment Manager™ through St. Louis Apartment Association and has received the Chancellors Certificate in Neighborhood Leadership through the University of Missouri – St. Louis. She has been Fair Housing Certified for years and completes continuing education annually to ensure she is always providing equitable solutions to real-world problems.
Previously serving on the National Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis — Federation of Block Units as the Recording Secretary, she remains involved in community development by helping her city council improve resident engagement and relations in her historically disadvantaged neighborhood. This work resulted in the creation of the Wellston Tenant Alliance, her tenant-led resident rights organization, that facilitates legal aid and wrap-around services to underserved tenants within the Wellston City limits. She is currently working on creating community partnerships with the other service organizations in the area, aiming to create a tightly-knit ecosystem that fosters sustainable growth in her neighborhood.
