Kahleea Washington is a senior at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville, studying sociology with a concentration in diversity and social justice with a minor in urban studies. Prior to interning at Rise, she interned at Northern Illinois Landbank in Winnebago County, IL. She plans to pursue a career in community development focused on blight reduction and affordable housing.
