Director of Finance
Ben Taylor joined Rise Community Development in June 2026 as Director of Finance, where he oversees the organization’s financial and accounting functions while supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives.
A licensed CPA, Ben holds a Master of Accounting from the University of Missouri–St. Louis. He is also an AICPA Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and holds an inactive Certification in Cybersecurity (CC) from ISC2. With a passion for technology and process improvement, Ben focuses on leveraging innovative solutions to strengthen financial operations and organizational effectiveness.
Throughout his career, Ben has gained extensive experience with modern financial and business software platforms. He has partnered with organizations to evaluate, plan, and implement financial technology solutions that streamline processes, improve efficiency, and support informed decision-making.
As a St. Louis native and city resident, Ben has a deep understanding of the affordable housing challenges facing the community. He is proud to support Rise’s mission of revitalizing neighborhoods and expanding opportunities for residents throughout the region.
