Emily Blackburn is a researcher and GIS technician based out of St. Louis, MO. She was with the St. Louis Metro PD for 14 years as the Crime Analysis Supervisor and is now working as the Senior GIS specialist with the University of Missouri – St. Louis. Throughout her career, she has strived to use technology, data, and innovation to help her community thrive. She hopes to continue that in partnership with UMSL and Rise in ways that will continue to grow the region in an equitable way.
