The Lemay Homes Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting took place on 11.15.2016 at 9 AM on a beautiful fall morning. Rise and Lemay Housing Partnership, Inc.(LHP) hosted the celebration inside Hancock Place School District. After the presentation, everyone moved across the street to 9410 South Broadway to perform the official ribbon cutting. The celebration commemorated the completion of Lemay Homes. Rise and LHP are co-developers on 40 new, single-family homes which are affordable to families earning 60 percent or less of the Area Median Income. The development is at full occupancy at this time.

Dr. Kevin Carl, Superintendent of Hancock School District, discussed the increase of 50 students to the Hancock school system due to the new families living in Lemay Homes and the positive impact the development has on the growth of the area.
