Rise President Stephen Acree appeared on Fox2Now yesterday to talk about the Fantasy Food Fare Competition to put a new restaurant into Saint Louis’ Old North neighborhood. The location, Acree notes is close to the ever-popular Crown Candy Kitchen, and the competition will “Offer it (the restaurant space) to someone for two years to let them get established and the rent will be paid for that two years”. He also noted that people will be “creative with their concept” in submitting proposals for their eatery ideas.
